What If It Wasn’t My Fault– Book launch, events, please join me!

Spring is coming. I can feel it in the sun on my face today. Blessed March where light and energy comes creeping back in and we fall to our knees (in the mud) and rejoice.

I’d love to see you out in the world at some of these upcoming events for the launch of my new YA novel in verse, out with Rootstock Publishing, on April 10th. I’ll be having three launch type events. One, just for the teen audience at Teen Lit Mob, on April 10th, where I will meet with teen readers, lead a writing workshop, and read from the book at Woodstock High School. Later that day, I’ll head even further south to Manchester, at the amazing Northshire Bookstore in Manchester for a book launch, reading, and celebration.

For my more local central Vermont folks, please head to Bear Pond Books on April 28th, for a PoemCity event, with the fabulous Diana Whitney, author of Girl Trouble. Here’s what we will be up to:

Join poets Katy Farber and Diana Whitney as they celebrate their new books, What If It Wasn’t My Fault and Girl Trouble. This lively afternoon will include poetry readings, author conversation, group discussion, and community resources. More than a literary event, this is an opportunity for survivors and advocates, parents and families, and anyone interested in sharing their voice.

Hope to see you out there! Sharing our stories takes our power back, and builds community.
